PKW-Ngāti Tama Iwi Undergraduate Scholarship

The PKW Trust and Te Runanga o Ngāti Tama are excited to offer the joint PKW-Ngāti Tama Iwi Undergraduate Scholarship. PKW are continually finding opportunities to partner with our Iwi in Taranaki and Te Runanga o Ngāti Tama is proud to partner with PKW to increase ways of supporting Ngāti Tama uri.

The scholarship is designed to support Ngāti Tama uri to keep pursuing their tertiary goals. There is one scholarship available this year to the value of $3,750.

Please note: You may apply for as many PKW Scholarships as you wish as long as you meet the criteria. Although, you will only be eligible to receive one scholarship or grant per year.

Applicants must meet the following criteria:
· Be a New Zealand citizen or permanent resident
· Whakapapa to Ngāti Tama
· Not have completed a Postgraduate qualification
· Be a registered member or be able to be endorsed by a registered member of Te Runanga o Ngāti Tama
· Be endorsed by a living PKW shareholder
· Be enrolled in a government recognised institution
· Be enrolled in your second year or higher of your Undergraduate studies
· The course of study should align to the business needs of PKW and

PKW Trust would also like to acknowledge Toitū Kaupapa Māori Mātauranga|Māori Education Trust for their financial Support of this year’s PKW Tertiary Grants and Scholarships.

All unsuccessful Scholarship candidates will be automatically considered for PKW Tertiary Grants.

The value of Tertiary Grants will vary depending on the number of applications received. To be eligible for a full Tertiary Grant you must have paid more than $1,000 in course fees and be studying full-time. All other applicants will only be eligible for a Partial Tertiary Grant.
